Teaching

Today was a day filled with running around passing back projects I have finished. As well as helping teach English at Mr Li Yangs Crazy English Camp. This afternoons class was a 1/4 comedy joking about Americans as well as Chinese. :) Embarrassing moments when I had to step out of the room to call a friend to help me out with a Southern drawl. By time i got back in they had moved on....ohhh well such is life. :) We continued on with the days lesson and took a break so that hey could memorize the story and the key words for the lesson. Which they played the whole time Michael Buble "Home" I was like wow. I love this song. Tonight after watching Kung Fu Panda, we went over to the mess hall and the teacher read out letters that there parents had written to them. They were inspiring, I love you kind of letters. There were kids and assistant teachers crying and sobbing while hearing the letters read out loud. It was so emotional yet I didn't understand a word they were reading as it was in Chinese but yet a few times i felt like crying. Weird huh? :) Well...I'm really hoping to get my package tomorrow and for a new day. Hopefully were it's not raining. :)

So today was the day for catching up and talking to some friends before recording a book onto some cassette tapes for the overseer of the foreign admissions department at my university. I then after trying several times to get started and get the recorder to work properly got it done and took a shower for the second one in 24 hrs as it has been hot enough here the last couple weeks were you need a shower twice every 24 hrs. "Smells his armpit" Yepp almost time for another shower... :) Today the weather has decided for at this moment in time rain/pour for over 24 hrs and yet insists on continuing. Blah....after spending 22 yrs in OR with rain what seems like 365 days a year....It gives me nightmares every time i see rain for more then 12 hrs. Hahaha..lol...nah not quite that bad. :) Played some Texas Holdem with my company's employees tonight to see who will cook after our next business meeting. Such high stakes..hahaha. Whoever were the first two people out are going to be the cooks next time. My roommate and I were the first two out...it's a bummer but I thoroughly enjoy cooking. It was just a bummer to be out. I'm an extremely competitive person. Any dares....suggestions that I can't do it....yeah your totally on. :) Well, it is time for me to hit the hay and to start a new day tomorrow.
